We returned for a second time to Chris and Freya’s to visit our family nearby. It’s a beautiful little place and the hosts have kept it really well, with lovely decor and super comfy beds. The log burner is homely and cosy. Chris and Freya were very friendly and helpful. We’ll be back again!

Description

The cottage is accessed from the main yard via a lobby and stairs, the main living area is all on one level.  The double bedroom is fitted with one king size bed and the twin has 2 three-foot beds.   The sitting room has a Wood Burning Stove, TV and DAB Radio. The kitchen was refitted in November 2018 and is equipped with an electric cooker with ceramic hob and fan oven, fridge, microwave cooker/grill and a wide range of cooking equipment.  The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin, loo and a heated towel rail. There is a small west facing terrace with table and chairs for al fresco eating accessed from French doors from the dining area.

Free WiFi is available throughout the cottage (Please note Exmoor WiFi is now full fibre and can now handle most on line service, WiFi phone calls etc).  Travel Cot, High Chair and Stair gate are available on request, please let us know the time of booking to ensure availability.  We provide an initial basket of logs free of charge, refills are charged at £6/basket.  Towels, bedding (except for cots), tea towels, washing up liquid and hand soap are included in the rental price. Eggs and other seasonal products may be purchased from the owners.
